Huskers’ Season Highlights

Nebraska achieved a flawless 30-0 record this season, marking an unbeaten regular season for only the third time in the program’s history. The only other perfect seasons were in 1994 and 2000. The Huskers dropped just seven sets overall and only one in Big Ten play while securing their third consecutive Big Ten title with a 20-0 conference record.

This is Nebraska’s first unbeaten conference season since 2004, during their time in the Big 12. Their current 30-match winning streak ranks as the fourth longest in school history.

NCAA Regional Prospects

Should Nebraska advance past the second round, they will host an NCAA Regional at the Devaney Center from December 11-14. The top teams in Nebraska’s region include No. 8 Louisville, No. 9 Texas A&M, and No. 16 Kansas.

Historical Matchup

In their previous encounter, Nebraska faced Long Island during the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2023, emerging victorious with scores of 25-13, 25-16, and 25-22.

2025 NCAA Championship Preview

This year’s NCAA Championship is scheduled for December 18-21 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, a venue where Nebraska claimed the championship title in 2017.
