The White House Christmas tree, which stands at over 18 feet, arrived via horse-drawn carriage and is situated in the Blue Room. Sourced from Korson’s Tree Farms in Sidney, Michigan, this concolor fir honors Gold Star Families with 2,800 gold stars and ornaments representing each state’s official bird and flower. In total, 51 trees adorn various rooms in the White House.
Celebrating the Nation’s 250th Anniversary
This year’s decorations also honor military families and commemorate the country’s upcoming 250th anniversary in 2026. A special focus on patriotic elements is visible throughout, particularly in the East Room, which showcases colors and symbols reflective of the American flag.

Public Tours and Accessibility
Public tours will commence on December 2, allowing thousands of visitors to experience the festive decorations. However, tours have been slightly adjusted due to the recent demolition of the East Wing to facilitate a new $300 million ballroom. Visitors will access an updated route, entering through the North Portico instead of the East Wing.
