Auburn Appoints Alex Golesh as New Head Football Coach
Auburn University has officially appointed Alex Golesh as the new head football coach. His introduction will commence a new era for the Auburn Tigers.
Event Schedule for Golesh’s Introduction
Fans are invited to participate in a Tiger Walk, set for Monday afternoon. The event starts at 11 a.m. at Tiger Walk Plaza, where the community can welcome Golesh and his family.

Pep Rally and Media Briefing
Following the Tiger Walk, a pep rally will feature the Auburn University Marching Band, cheerleaders, and Aubie, the Tiger mascot. This marks the first opportunity for fans to hear from Coach Golesh.
In addition, Auburn plans to broadcast a special WarEagle+ Live show outside the Harbert Family Recruiting Center. This broadcast will take place at 11 a.m. for those unable to attend the event in person.
Press Conference Details
After the Tiger Walk, Coach Golesh and Auburn Athletics Director John Cohen will hold a press conference. It will take place at noon in the Anderson-Thorne Tigers Den at the Harbert Family Recruiting Center. Although fans cannot attend the press conference, it will be streamed at Tiger Walk Plaza, allowing wider public access to the event.
Auburn is excited for this new chapter with Coach Golesh leading the football program, and the community is showing strong support during this transition.
