‘Home Improvement’ Star Arrested in Oregon for Probation Violation
Zachery Ty Bryan, known for his role in “Home Improvement,” has been arrested again in Oregon. The Lane County Sheriff’s Office reported that Bryan, 44, was taken into custody on November 29. The arrest occurred after a call about reckless endangerment near Big Fall Creek Road, close to Lowell.
Details of the Incident
Bryan was reportedly in a pickup truck with 32-year-old Johnnie Faye Cartwright and their three children. While at the scene, Bryan exited the vehicle and began walking along the road. In a concerning turn of events, Cartwright attempted to run over Bryan and subsequently crashed the truck into a ditch. Fortunately, neither Bryan nor any of the children sustained injuries.
Charges and Court Orders
Upon arrival, deputies observed signs suggesting that both Bryan and Cartwright were impaired. Cartwright was arrested and faced charges for first-degree attempted assault and three counts of recklessly endangering the welfare of a child, along with driving under the influence.

Additionally, deputies discovered that Bryan was in violation of a court order prohibiting contact with Cartwright. As a result, Bryan was arrested for a probation violation linked to a previous fourth-degree assault charge. He is currently being held without bail at the Lane County Jail.

This incident marks Bryan’s sixth arrest in five years. His prior legal issues include:

- 2023: Arrested in Eugene for fourth-degree felony assault and related charges.
