Etihad Launches A380 Flights to Tokyo in November Routes Update
Etihad Airways is set to enhance its flight offerings to Japan by launching Airbus A380 operations between Abu Dhabi and Tokyo Narita. This service will commence on June 16, 2026, replacing the existing Airbus A350-1000 aircraft currently utilized on this route.
Details of the New A380 Service
The Airbus A380 operates with significantly higher capacity. Etihad’s A380 features:
- 2 seats in The Residence®
- 9 First Class seats
- 70 Business Class seats
- 405 Economy Class seats
This configuration allows a total maximum capacity of 486 passengers, compared to the A350-1000’s capacity of 371 passengers.
