Glen Kyne Appointed to New Zealand Film Commission Board
The New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) has appointed Glen Kyne to its board of directors. Kyne previously served as the senior vice president and head of networks at Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ, bringing significant media industry expertise.
Glen Kyne’s Professional Background
Kyne’s career includes notable roles in various media organizations. He became the joint lead for Discovery ANZ in late 2020, managing operations across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. This appointment followed Discovery’s acquisition of Mediaworks TV, where Kyne spent over six years.
In 2021, he took sole leadership of the trans-Tasman business after Rebecca Kent transitioned to a new role. In June 2022, following the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery, Kyne became the senior vice president and head of networks. He left the organization in July 2022.
