Status Report
The Capitals recently secured a 3-1 victory against the Los Angeles Kings. Following this win, the team opted not to hold a morning skate prior to today’s game. Goalie Charlie Lindgren is expected to take the ice, replacing Logan Thompson, who made 24 saves in the last match.
On the Sharks’ side, an optional morning skate was conducted. Forward Alexander Wennberg participated despite dealing with an upper-body injury, and he is expected to play. Additionally, Michael Misa has been moved to long-term injured reserve due to a lower-body injury sustained on Nov. 1 and is now on a conditioning assignment with the San Jose affiliate in the AHL.
