Robinson, who is ranked as the No. 182 prospect nationally by the 247Sports Composite, had initially pledged to Michigan in June. However, he announced on Instagram that he was postponing his signing until further notice just a day before the signing day.

Stanford played a crucial role in persuading Robinson to flip his commitment. The Cardinal’s efforts behind the scenes ultimately led to this unexpected decision.
