Fairfield University Launches Annual Teddy Bears with Love Donation Drive
Fairfield University has kicked off its annual “Teddy Bears with Love” donation drive, inviting community contributions until December 19. This initiative aims to provide comfort to children in hospitals and charities around the state and beyond.

On Thursday, Joe Romano, CFO of Stepping Stones Museum, participated by delivering hundreds of plush toys. Romano, whose wife is an alumna of Fairfield University and whose daughter is a current student, emphasized the importance of community support.
Romano stated, “It’s great to give back to the community. These stuffed animals go to children in hospitals. Helping a child, especially during the holidays, is invaluable. The sight of all those stuffed animals lined up is heartwarming. The generosity around here is phenomenal.”
Drive Impact
The “Teddy Bears with Love” drive has seen impressive support. Since its inception, over 28,000 teddy bears and other stuffed animals have been contributed. This reflects the outstanding spirit of giving within the Fairfield University community and its wider support network.
