Hull FC Reveals 2026 Principal Jersey Inspired by 2016 Design

Hull FC has proudly unveiled their principal jersey for the 2026 Betfred Super League season. This new design commemorates ten years since the club’s historic 2016 Challenge Cup Final victory, a significant milestone for the team.

2026 Principal Jersey: A Tribute to History

The 2026 jersey draws inspiration from the iconic design worn during Hull FC’s remarkable win at Wembley. On August 27, 2016, the Black & Whites triumphed over the Warrington Wolves with a score of 12-10, marking the club’s first victory at the national stadium. This memorable win is considered one of the most pivotal moments in the team’s history.

Design Features

  • The jersey is predominantly white, featuring the distinctive black vee that characterized the 2016 season.
  • Prominent players from that era, including Danny Houghton and Jamie Shaul, attended the launch.
  • Shaul was instrumental in the 2016 victory, scoring the decisive try.
  • Houghton is remembered for making a crucial tackle, known as ‘Tackle 52’, in the dying moments of the match.

Partnerships and Merchandise

The 2026 jersey is developed by Castore, the club’s merchandise and technical provider. The jersey is available for purchase online and in retail stores, with prices set at £52.99 for adults and £39.99 for children and toddlers. Members also receive a £5 discount on their 2026 jersey as part of their membership package.

New Partnerships

This season marks the first time that Sports Events Services will feature prominently on the jersey. This local company has been instrumental in organizing major events such as the PDC darts championships.

  • New associate partner Cranswick appears on the sleeve of the jersey for the first time.
  • Other returning sponsors include Paragon Elevators, Cladding King, and J O’Neills & Co.
  • Newcomers to the sponsorship lineup include Seafish UK and Nanna Carter’s.

Launch Events and Promotions

The new Principal Jersey officially launches at the St Stephen’s retail store on Saturday, December 6th, featuring appearances from new players Harvie Hill and James Bell. Additionally, customers who purchase the 2026 jersey will receive a complimentary Bluetooth speaker, courtesy of club partner Age Partnership, while stocks last.

This jersey launch not only honors the past but also sets the stage for an exciting future as Hull FC celebrates its rich history and prepares for the upcoming Super League season.
