Will Hall Appointed to Lead Tulane Green Wave Football Program
Will Hall has been named the new head coach of the Tulane Green Wave football program. His appointment was announced by David Harris, the Chair of the Ben Weiner Director of Athletics, on Monday. Hall returns to Tulane after serving as the Passing Game Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach.
Appointment Details
Hall will officially be introduced as head coach on Tuesday at 11 a.m. The event will take place at the Jill H. and Avram A. Glazer Family Club in Yulman Stadium, located at 2900 Ben Weiner Drive. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m., and the introduction will be livestreamed on ESPN+ and the Green Wave’s YouTube channel.
Coaching Record and Achievements
Will Hall boasts an impressive collegiate coaching record with 70 wins, including seven winning seasons. Before returning to Tulane, he spent over three seasons at the University of Southern Mississippi, leading the Golden Eagles to a notable victory in the 2022 Lending Tree Bowl.
- Guided Southern Miss to a 38-24 win over Rice in 2022.
- In 2022, his team defeated Tulane 27-24 during the regular season.
Previously, Hall was Tulane’s Offensive Coordinator from 2019 to 2020, where he played a crucial role in elevating the team’s national profile. Under his guidance in 2019, Tulane achieved:
- 11th in the nation for rushing offense (243.2 yards).
- 22nd in total offense (449.3 yards).
- 30th in scoring offense (33.1 points).
