Packers Declare Four Players Questionable Against Broncos
The Green Bay Packers face roster uncertainty as they prepare for their upcoming game against the Denver Broncos. Four players have been designated as questionable, while several others have been ruled out.
Packers’ Questionable Players
Running back Josh Jacobs leads the list of four players with uncertain participation due to a knee issue. Other players facing potential absence include:
- Receiver Savion Williams (foot)
- Defensive lineman Lukas Van Ness (foot)
- Linebacker Kristian Welch (concussion)
Jacobs returned to practice in a limited capacity after missing the previous two days. He recorded 20 carries for 86 yards and one touchdown in the Packers’ last victory over the Chicago Bears. However, he noted swelling in his knee following the match.
Other Player Updates
“Just talking to him, it sounds like he’s feeling pretty good,” said Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur about Jacobs. The team will monitor his response to practice closely.
Savion Williams has been sidelined for the last two games due to a persistent foot injury. The rookie wide receiver has accumulated 106 yards and one touchdown during limited play this season, including 25.6 yards per kickoff return.
Lukas Van Ness has struggled with a foot injury sustained earlier in the season, limiting his participation in recent games. He managed just six snaps after returning for a brief period in Week 12.
Players Ruled Out
The Packers will be without several players who remain on reserve lists:
- Defensive lineman Brenton Cox Jr. (groin)
- Defensive lineman Collin Oliver (hamstring)
- Running back MarShawn Lloyd (calf/hamstring)
In contrast, the team has not provided a game status for players who are expected to participate, including quarterback Jordan Love and a range of receivers and linemen.
Denver Broncos’ Status
The Broncos are dealing with their own injury concerns. They have ruled out:
- Receiver Pat Bryant (hamstring)
- Guard Ben Powers (biceps)
Right tackle Mike McGlinchey is questionable after missing practice on Friday, while tight end Nate Adkins and defensive tackle D.J. Jones are expected to play despite their injuries.
As game day approaches, both teams will keep a close eye on player conditions, affecting their strategies and lineups.
