Captain Leo Messi has been named the Club’s Most Valuable Player, while defender Jordi Alba has received the title of Defensive Player of the Year. Leo Messi: Most Valuable Player of the Year
Leo Messi’s remarkable performance secured him the Most Valuable Player honor. He played a pivotal role in leading Inter Miami to its first MLS Cup. In an impressive campaign, Messi made history by becoming the first player to win the Landon Donovan MLS Most Valuable Player award consecutively.
During the regular season, Messi topped the scoring charts with 29 goals. He also had 19 assists, resulting in a total of 48 goal contributions over 28 matches. This achievement makes him the second player in MLS history to lead the league in both goals and assists in a single season, joining Sebastian Giovinco from 2015.
