Steelers Induct New Hall of Honor Class
The Pittsburgh Steelers continue their tradition of honoring the franchise’s legends with the induction of the Hall of Honor Class of 2025. This year’s ceremony will take place during halftime when the Steelers face the Miami Dolphins. The celebration follows an official enshrinement dinner at Acrisure Stadium scheduled for the night before.
Introducing the Hall of Honor Class of 2025
The Hall of Honor Class of 2025 features three outstanding former players: linebacker Joey Porter Sr., center Maurkice Pouncey, and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. These athletes were influential during Super Bowl seasons, contributing significantly to the team’s legacy.

History of the Hall of Honor
The Hall of Honor was established in 2017, an initiative spearheaded by Art Rooney II and the late Dan Rooney. Its purpose is to recognize former players, coaches, and contributors who have made substantial impacts in Steelers history since the franchise’s formation in 1933.
To qualify for induction, players must be retired for at least three years and have played a minimum of three seasons with the Steelers. Coaches and contributors are evaluated based on their significant roles in team success and contributions to the community.
