D.C. High School Teacher Arrested for Child Pornography, Minor Enticement
Federal authorities have arrested John Aaron Gass, a 35-year-old history teacher at the District of Columbia International School. He faces serious charges including the production of child pornography and enticing a minor. The U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro announced these charges in a complaint unsealed today in the U.S. District Court.
Details of the Charges Against Gass
Gass was taken into custody yesterday at his home in Maryland. According to the allegations, his criminal conduct began around Spring 2025, during which he is accused of sexually abusing a minor.
Documents indicate that Gass not only abused the minor but also recorded the acts. On multiple occasions, he reportedly entered the victim’s bedroom through her window at night.
Investigation and Arrest
On November 21, 2025, law enforcement received information from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) regarding Gass’s activities. It was claimed that Gass had met the minor on several occasions, where he sexually abused her and used her phone to record explicit content.
This case falls under the jurisdiction of the FBI’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force. This specialized unit comprises FBI agents and local law enforcement from both the District of Columbia and northern Virginia, dedicated to combatting child exploitation and trafficking.
