- Dec. 6: Tacos BOGO – Buy a three-taco entrée and get another free.
- Dec. 13: Burrito BOGO – Buy a burrito and receive a free entrée.
- Dec. 20: Extra Sweater Day – Wear your favorite sweater to redeem the last BOGO offer.
Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s president and chief brand officer, expressed that the “Unwrap Extra” promotions focus on giving back to loyal fans while creating memorable experiences centered around food and loved ones.
How to Claim Free Entrées
To enjoy the free entrée offer in December, customers must adhere to specific guidelines. On Burrito BOGO day, individuals need to purchase a burrito in-restaurant after 4 p.m. local time to qualify for the complimentary item. Eligible entrees consist of salads, bowls, tacos, and burritos. Kids’ meals do not qualify as entrees.
It’s important to note that this promotional offer is only valid at participating locations and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. Customers are limited to five free menu items per transaction.
Special Offer for College Students
Chipotle is also giving college students a chance to participate in the festivities with the “Bowl Eligible” program. This initiative allows Chipotle U Rewards Members, specifically those at universities with Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) teams, to claim a free entrée with their purchase.
Eligibility and Redemption
Students at 84 qualifying universities can join Chipotle U Rewards by December 18 to access this offer. Existing members attending eligible schools will automatically receive the BOGO deal on December 10 and December 19.
To redeem their free entrée, Chipotle U Rewards Members must order through the Chipotle app or website within a week of receiving the offer. This ensures that the excitement of December at Chipotle reaches its fullest potential, especially for college students.
