Rob Edwards was born on December 25, 1982, in Telford, England, to Welsh parents. He began his football journey in the youth academy of Aston Villa, debuting in 2002. Over two seasons, he made a total of nine appearances for the club.

In 2004, he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he played for four years. Following his time at Wolves, he played for several clubs including Blackpool, Norwich City, Barnsley, Fleetwood, and Shrewsbury Town, before retiring due to injury at the young age of 30 in 2013.

Coaching Career

After retiring, Edwards transitioned into coaching, starting at the Wolves academy. He successfully led the Under-23s to promotion and managed Telford, his hometown team.
