FC Cincinnati Acquires Ayoub Jabbari from French Club
FC Cincinnati has officially signed forward Ayoub Jabbari from French Ligue 2 team Grenoble. They exercised their purchase option after having him on loan since August of last year, the club announced on Friday.

The 25-year-old Moroccan forward has agreed to a contract that runs through 2028, with an option for an additional year in 2029. Since his arrival, Jabbari has made eight appearances for FC Cincinnati, including one start.

Chris Albright, FC Cincinnati’s general manager, expressed enthusiasm about Jabbari’s return. “We’re excited to bring Ayoub back in 2026,” he stated. He highlighted Jabbari’s strong and dynamic play, which is crucial for stretching defenses and holding up play.

Before joining FC Cincinnati, Jabbari played nearly 100 matches in the lower divisions of Spain and France. His experience adds valuable depth to the FCC striker lineup, which is spearheaded by club-record signing Kévin Denkey.

Last season, FC Cincinnati had a strong showing, finishing second in the Eastern Conference with 65 points. However, their journey ended in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, where they were defeated by Inter Miami CF, the eventual MLS Cup champions.
