Star Reveals Taylor Sheridan’s Hit Show’s Major Death Could’ve Been Worse
Star Nishi Munshi shed light on a significant development in Season 4 of the hit series, Mayor of Kingstown. In a recent interview with TV Insider, Munshi discussed the shocking death of her character, Tracy McLusky, and how her demise could have been even more devastating.
Tragic Death in Mayor of Kingstown
In Season 4, Episode 8, titled “Belleville,” Tracy McLusky meets a brutal end at the hands of thugs sent by Richard Brake’s character, Merle Callahan. Callahan is a vengeful white supremacist whose attempt to negotiate with Taylor Handley’s Kyle McLusky fails disastrously. While Tracy’s death is horrific, her infant son, Mitch, miraculously survives the ordeal.
The Creative Process Behind the Scene
During her interview, Munshi expressed relief that Mitch lived through the encounter. She shared, “Our show has had intense baby deaths once or twice. I would be concerned for Tracy, looking from the other side.” She also mentioned discussions among the creators about the potential for Mitch’s demise, which were ultimately deemed “too cruel.”
