In a tragic case of mistaken identity, three individuals, including a teenager, have been charged in connection with the murder of a Thornwood High School student. The victim, 16-year-old Davell Holden, was fatally shot on the evening of August 2, near the intersection of 160th Place and Drexel Avenue in South Holland, Illinois.

Davell Holden was reportedly visiting his girlfriend when he was shot. The suspects allegedly intended to target an individual who had recently lived on the same street. Holden’s resemblance to this intended target contributed to this unfortunate case.
