The latest update for ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN, version 1.03.1, introduces various enhancements and fixes for an improved gaming experience. Available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, this patch brings both new content and crucial bug fixes.
New Features in ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN
Players who own the DLC titled The Forsaken Hollows will encounter exciting new elements in The Deep of Night mode. These additions include:
- New targets and landmarks.
- New raid events, enhancing the gameplay experience.
- The Shifting Earth dynamic, which activates in conjunction with other players possessing the DLC.
Gameplay Balance Updates
The update also includes balance adjustments that improve gameplay mechanics:
- Increased curse effects related to Fire, Magic, Lightning, or Holy elements in the temples of the Great Hollow Shifting Earth.
- Continuous HP loss and HP recovery curse effects have been modified.
- The attack power of wolves summoned during the Tricephalos raid event has been decreased.
Several quality-of-life enhancements have also been added for better user experience:
- A stack count display for damage negation reduction now appears when using level 3 Dart-type items.
- Reviving players will show a new near-death animation.
- Players can now remap the Map Display key in keyboard/mouse settings.
Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

- Issues regarding the Sentient Pest boss where player visibility was inconsistent.
- Scholar’s Skill bugs affecting communion skills and target analyses have been resolved.
