Colfax Corner will cover 202,000 square feet, featuring a restored building of the South Bend Tribune alongside a modern research and office facility. These two structures will connect on the second floor and create an outdoor public plaza aimed at hosting events and everyday activities.

The South Bend Redevelopment Commission has pledged financial backing through an Innovation Development District (IDD) bond. This funding model allows repayment through taxes generated from the project, presenting a unique partnership between South Bend and the State of Indiana.
