Jake Breske brings a wealth of experience to the Tigers. Originally hailing from Webster, North Dakota, Breske previously spent six years at Mizzou, where he left a lasting impact on the recruiting operations.

Breske’s Coaching Background

Breske’s previous experience includes:

  • Five years at Mizzou as a recruiting assistant and then director of recruiting

  • Coaching at Webster High School, his alma mater

He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of South Dakota, where he played quarterback and earned degrees in psychology and kinesiology.

Family Legacy in Football

Breske comes from a strong football lineage. His father, Leon Breske, was a high school coach for 33 years and is recognized in the South Dakota Football Coaches’ Association Hall of Fame. Furthermore, Breske’s brothers have also been involved in football, with one, Nate, serving as head athletic trainer for the Buffalo Bills.
