Olivia Babcock of the University of Pittsburgh has been awarded the AVCA Division I Women’s Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. This honor, presented by Nike Volleyball, recognizes her exceptional performance during the 2025 season.

Outstanding Season for Babcock and the Panthers

Babcock played a key role in leading the Panthers to their fifth straight appearance in the NCAA championship semifinals. Throughout the season, she achieved an impressive average of 5.11 kills and 2.11 digs per set, both career highs.

In addition to being named the AVCA Player of the Year, Babcock received several accolades this year:
