The case of a missing Lincoln mother reached a tragic conclusion this week in rural Furnas County. Jerica Hamre, aged 30, was reported missing on July 3, 2024, after she was last seen at her home on Huntington Avenue.
Discovery of Jerica Hamre’s Body
Authorities discovered Hamre’s remains on a farm just north of Oxford on the morning of Wednesday. A farm worker found her body in an outbuilding while preparing the property for sale. The Lincoln Police Department confirmed that an autopsy conducted on Friday verified the identity of the remains.
