Peter Kuchar had participated in the PNC Championship alongside Matt on three occasions, making their victory this year even more significant. “I don’t know if you believe in karma, if you believe in fate, whatever you believe in, there’s something magical that does exist,” Matt shared, reflecting on his father’s influence during the final moments of the tournament.

On the concluding hole, Matt felt an overwhelming presence from his father. He described the moment, saying, “For me to hit it to a foot makes me think there’s something more out there. [I] just miss … miss pops.” The birdie on the 36th hole highlighted their exceptional performance.
