LHJMQ: Chicoutimi Strengthens Lineup with Jordan Tourigny Addition
The Saguenéens de Chicoutimi have made a significant move to enhance their roster. They have acquired Jordan Tourigny, a 20-year-old defenseman, from the Shawinigan Cataractes. In return, they traded 18-year-old defenseman Jonathan Prud’homme. Additionally, a first-round pick in the 2027 draft will also be part of the transaction.

In another move, the Saguenéens also acquired 18-year-old goaltender Lucas Beckman from the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. Chicoutimi traded 20-year-old defenseman Xavier Daigle in this exchange. This acquisition allowed General Manager and Head Coach Yanick Jean to further round out his squad with veteran talent.
