Portland Police are seeking assistance from the public in locating Richard Scott Stuart, a 54-year-old man wanted in relation to two stabbings. The incidents occurred on Christmas Eve in the city of Portland, Oregon.

Details of the Stabbings

The stabbings took place near:

  • 3000 Block of Northeast Weidler Street
  • Northeast 24th Avenue and Northeast Hancock Street

In the attacks, a 20-year-old male and a 67-year-old male sustained serious neck injuries, both requiring hospitalization. Fortunately, they have since been discharged from the hospital.

Suspect Identification

Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit have identified Stuart as the prime suspect. An arrest warrant has been issued, charging him with:

  • Two counts of attempted murder
  • Additional related charges
