Transfer Portal Details

Spotlight on Individual Players

Chrishon McCray transferred to Michigan State from Kent State, bringing significant experience. He scored three touchdowns during the past season and is among the standout receivers who will be missed. His 24 receptions for 330 yards were among the top statistics for the team this year.

Another notable player, Kristian Phillips, had a promising start but suffered an injury that kept him off the field for the latter part of the season. He is expected to have two years of eligibility remaining.

Aydan West emerged as a key contributor in the defensive backfield. He played the most snaps among returning defensive backs, recording 19 tackles this season.

David Santiago, who joined Michigan State after a stint at Air Force, also contributed effectively, recording 24 tackles throughout the season.

As Michigan State prepares for the transfer portal changes, it remains to be seen how these departures will impact the roster going forward. With new head coach Fitzgerald at the helm, future recruiting strategies may evolve as they seek to strengthen the team.
