About Bishop Briggs

Bishop Briggs, originally named Sarah Grace McLaughlin, is a 33-year-old singer-songwriter from London. To avoid confusion with Canadian artist Sarah McLachlan, she adopted her stage name from the Scottish town of Bishopbriggs, where her parents grew up.

  • Her breakthrough came with the hit “River” in 2016, which reached number 3 on Billboard’s US Alternative Chart.
  • She toured with Coldplay during their “A Head Full of Dreams” tour in 2016-2017.

Recent Projects

With over 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Bishop Briggs has a dedicated fan base. Her latest EP, titled “When It’s Halloween,” was released in October 2025.
