Former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has returned to the UK following a tragic car accident in Nigeria. The incident, which occurred on a major expressway near Lagos, resulted in the deaths of two close friends of Joshua.
The Fatal Crash
On Monday, a Lexus SUV carrying Joshua collided with a stationary truck. Joshua’s friends, Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, tragically lost their lives in the crash.

Legal Proceedings
The driver of the vehicle, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, 46, faces serious charges. He has been accused of causing death by dangerous driving. Kayode appeared before Sagamu Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
