Flight Diversions Due to Weather Conditions

Dubai International Airport (DXB) experienced the majority of the impact, with 21 flights affected. Additionally, Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC) had two flights diverted. These measures were taken to ensure safety during peak arrival times.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued yellow and red fog warnings prior to the incidents, which lasted from midnight until 10 AM. The NCM also warned that humid conditions may persist, leading to further fog formation.

Emirates Airlines strongly recommended that passengers arrive four hours prior to their flights to account for potential delays and busy conditions at airports.
