Frank Venegas, known as one half of the viral rap duo Island Boys, has been arrested in Florida. The arrest occurred on New Year’s Eve during a traffic stop in Collier County, where deputies discovered fentanyl-laced paraphernalia.

Traffic Stop Details

The incident took place on December 31, 2023, when a black Mercedes-Benz failed to yield at a crosswalk near State Road 29 and Kaicasa Lane. Venegas, 24, was a passenger in the vehicle. During the stop, deputies observed him making suspicious movements toward the rear of the car.

Substances Found

  • A Chase debit card in Venegas’ name
  • A cut straw that tested positive for fentanyl
  • A gray bag containing a Zolpidem pill and fentanyl residue

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Olivia Dubois, was also arrested on various drug charges.

Legal Troubles

Venegas is currently facing charges for possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in custody at the Collier County Jail. His arraignment is scheduled for January 21, 2026.

This arrest adds to Venegas’ ongoing legal issues, which include a prior case from February 2025 involving oxycodone and an altered firearm. He also has a history of charges such as domestic battery and reckless driving.

The situation highlights the challenges faced by Venegas in managing his legal troubles while being part of a public persona as a rapper.
