The Miami Dolphins have made significant adjustments to their roster ahead of the upcoming game. The team has elevated linebacker Derrick McLendon and running back Jeff Wilson Jr. to the active roster for Sunday.

Derrick McLendon: Rising Talent
Derrick McLendon joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent after playing college football at Colorado. He entered the league in 2024, initially signing with the Carolina Panthers.
During his time at Colorado, he played in 12 games. McLendon recorded 14 tackles, of which 10 were solo, along with 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and four fumble recoveries. Prior to Colorado, he spent three years at Florida State, participating in 38 games. There, he accumulated 61 tackles, 7.0 sacks, and one forced fumble.
Jeff Wilson Jr.: Proven Veteran
Jeff Wilson Jr. brings extensive experience to the Dolphins. Over eight seasons, he has participated in 74 games, starting in 16 of them. His career began with the San Francisco 49ers, where he played from 2018 to 2022 before joining Miami in 2022.
Wilson has rushed for 2,370 yards on 531 attempts, averaging 4.5 yards per carry. He has also scored 18 rushing touchdowns. In addition to his rushing success, he has made 74 receptions for 585 yards and five receiving touchdowns.

Wilson appeared in both the Dolphins’ Week 1 game against the Indianapolis Colts and their Week 2 matchup against the New England Patriots. However, he spent the beginning of the season on the practice squad.
