The Pittsburgh Steelers recently recognized 11 outstanding high school football players with the Jerome Bettis Leadership Award. This honor celebrates athletes who play a vital role in supporting their teammates and demonstrating leadership on and off the field.

Event Details

A special ceremony took place in Homestead, hosted by the Best of the Batch Foundation, which was established by former Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch. Each player received a $1,000 donation for their school’s football program as part of the award.

The winners were honored not only during the event but also at various Steelers home games throughout the football season. This recognition highlights the importance of leadership and mentorship in high school sports.
