Independence Day Bobblehead Set Marks America’s 250th Anniversary
In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, a special bobblehead set will launch on National Bobblehead Day, January 7, 2026. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee is behind this unique initiative. CEO Phil Sklar emphasized the museum’s commitment to innovation, stating it is the only facility globally dedicated solely to bobbleheads.
America’s 250th Anniversary Bobblehead Collection
The museum will unveil a series of bobbleheads commemorating America’s birthday. The first release is themed “First Declaration of Independence.” This collectible features four prominent Founding Fathers: John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and John Hancock.
Design and Production Details
The design is a tribute to John Trumbull’s iconic 1818 painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Sklar explained that the bobbleheads are crafted to closely replicate the painting, showcasing the four leaders in the foreground with other signers in the background.
- Each bobblehead in the collection is numbered up to 1,776, echoing the year of American independence.
- The complete set is priced at $176 and is available for online purchase.
- Shipping will commence in June, aligning with the Fourth of July celebrations.
Sklar mentioned that the museum plans to release new bobbleheads each month, highlighting various patriotic figures and themes throughout the year. Previous designs have included notable characters like Uncle Sam and Rosie the Riveter, broadening the collection’s appeal.
