At present, MTV Rewind boasts an impressive library of over 33,000 music videos, providing users with more than two months of continuous music content. The platform’s database is powered by the Internet Music Video Database (IMVDb), with all videos sourced from YouTube.
Flexasaurus Rex expressed a sense of loss when MTV announced the closure of its music video channels, stating, “MTV was a cultural institution that changed music, fashion, and youth culture. I started coding immediately and built MTV Rewind in just 48 hours.”
