Auchan Polska has finalized a preliminary agreement to sell eight shopping centers located across Poland. The buyer is Adventum Penta Fund SCA SICAV-RAIF, a Hungarian investment firm. Legal advice for this transaction was provided by the international law firm Greenberg Traurig.

This transaction is considered one of the most significant real estate deals in Poland for 2025. The sale was structured as a sale-and-leaseback agreement. This means that Auchan will continue to operate these properties by leasing them back under a 15-year contract, with an option to extend the lease.
Karol Brzoskowski, a partner at Greenberg Traurig in Warsaw, commented on the deal, stating that maintaining operational control is essential for Auchan in Poland. He emphasized that this transaction highlights the resilience of the Polish retail real estate market and the confidence institutional investors have in high-quality retail infrastructure.
