General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced these transactions on Wednesday, highlighting the team’s ongoing adjustments to their lineup:

  • Activated: LB Nick Niemann from injured reserve.
  • Placed on Injured Reserve: CB Bo Melton.
  • Signed to Practice Squad: DL Anthony Campbell.
  • Placed on Practice Squad (Injured): WR Will Sheppard.

Anthony Campbell joins the Packers’ practice squad after a brief tenure with the Seattle Seahawks. Standing at 6 feet 6 inches and weighing 307 pounds, Campbell is a rookie from the University of Miami (Fla.).

Initially, Campbell signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 29, 2025. After being released during the training camp, he started the season on the Seahawks’ practice squad.

Before his time at Miami, Campbell played at Independence Community College in Kansas for two seasons (2019-2020) and transferred to the University of Louisiana-Monroe for the 2021-2022 seasons.

He will don jersey number 60 while with the Packers, aspiring to make an impact in the team’s defensive lineup.
