Kempton Park has scheduled an inspection on Thursday at 14:00 ahead of their major meeting on Saturday. The track remains frozen, according to Clerk of the Course, Barney Clifford. “We had ten millimetres of rain overnight, but temperatures stayed between two and four degrees,” he reported on Wednesday morning. Improvement is necessary before the weekend.

Other Track Conditions

• Wetherby: The meeting was abandoned following a 15:30 inspection due to a frozen surface.
• Warwick: Officials are monitoring the area closely, as a warmer night has led to a slight thaw.
• Naas: A rearranged Friday meeting faces potential cancellations due to track conditions.

Forecast and Future Inspections

Brendan Sheridan, Clerk of the Course at Naas, indicated that some track sections remain unraceable. He noted the ground conditions, with a mix of yielding to soft, but added that there is a forecast of rain in the coming days.

Exeter and Huntingdon have both called for inspections due to frozen conditions. Exeter plans to assess the track on Thursday at 16:00, while Huntingdon will check again on Thursday at 09:00.
