  • Bowser Jr.
  • Bowser
  • Mario
  • Luigi
  • Peach
  • Rosalina
  • Yoshi
  • Waluigi
  • Wario
  • Toad
  • Daisy
  • Donkey Kong

Scanning these amiibo in Mario Tennis Fever allows players to use tennis balls designed after the respective characters.

Exciting New Features and Character Roster

The game is set to feature an impressive lineup of 38 playable characters, marking the largest roster in series history. New additions include Goomba, Nabbit, Piranha Plant, Baby Wario, and Baby Waluigi. Players can utilize traditional tennis techniques such as Topspin, Slices, and Lobs while using the new Fever Rackets to tilt the match in their favor.

Unique Rackets and Gameplay Mechanisms

Mario Tennis Fever introduces over 30 new rackets, each with unique abilities:

  • Ice Racket: Freezes parts of the court, creating a slippery challenge.
  • Mini Mushroom Racket: Shrinks opponents for an amusing disadvantage.
  • Shadow Racket: Creates a duplicate of the player, confusing opponents.

Players can fill up their Fever Gauge to unleash a powerful Fever Shot and even return it to their opponent before it hits the court.

Variety of Gameplay Modes

Mario Tennis Fever will feature new and returning game modes. These include:

  • Trial Towers: A challenge series to climb to the next level.
  • Mix It Up: Features unconventional rules, including:
    • Ring Shot: Hit balls through rings to score points.
    • Forest Court Match: Expand the court by feeding Piranha Plants tennis balls.
  • Wonder Court Match: Experience unexpected effects inspired by Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Returning modes, such as Tournament mode, will be enhanced with commentary from a Talking Flower. Additionally, various online modes will be available, including Ranked Matches and a casual play mode called Online Room.

Adventure Mode and Game Sharing Capabilities

Players can refine their skills in Adventure Mode. In this single-player campaign, Mario and friends must regain their tennis prowess after being turned into babies by mysterious creatures.

The game also supports GameShare functionality, allowing up to three nearby players to join if one person owns Mario Tennis Fever on the Nintendo Switch 2.
