Las Vegas is currently experiencing significant weather events that include power outages and gusty winds. As of 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, more than 8,300 customers in Clark County were without power, according to NV Energy.

A WIND ADVISORY will be in effect until 10 p.m. tonight. Sustained northwest winds will range between 20 to 30 mph, with gusts reaching 40 to 50 mph. The strongest winds are anticipated in areas such as:
- Summerlin
- Centennial Hills
- Mountain’s Edge
Snowfall and Thunderstorm Predictions
For higher elevations above 4,500 feet, snowfall is predicted to be between 1 to 3 inches. The forecast also includes isolated thunderstorms, with chances of valley rain and graupel.

Tonight, the skies are expected to clear, leading to reduced visibility due to areas of patchy dust. Temperatures are likely to drop into the low to mid-30s, marking the coldest night of the season so far.
Friday’s Forecast
As winds remain from the northwest at 15 to 25 mph, it will feel colder, comparable to temperatures in the 20s and 30s. Friday’s expected high will be in the low 50s accompanied by gusts of around 25 mph.
Looking Ahead
High pressure is projected to build in over the weekend, allowing for a rebound in temperatures. By Sunday, the daytime highs could reach the upper 50s. Looking toward next week, temperatures may approach the 70s by Wednesday and Thursday.
