With Heaven on Top consists of an expansive 25 tracks, showcasing Bryan’s preference for lengthy albums. This follows previous releases, such as 2024’s The Great American Bar Scene, which featured 19 songs, and his self-titled album from 2023 with 16 tracks. His earlier work, American Heartbreak, included a staggering 34 entries.

After a prolific three-year span that produced multiple albums and numerous EPs, Bryan largely took the last year off to focus on his mental health. During this break, he navigated significant personal challenges, including a highly publicized breakup with podcaster Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia.
In November, Bryan revealed he suffered from intense panic attacks and cited the pressures of fame as overwhelming. He shared, “Being in the military for a decade and then thrown into a spotlight that I hadn’t fully comprehended had some subconscious effects on me.”

Finding stability significantly involved a commitment to sobriety and a private wedding to Samantha Leonard in San Sebastian, Spain, at the end of 2025. With these personal achievements, Bryan enters the new year with renewed clarity and a fresh album.
