January 2025 promises an exciting array of Premier League matches and more, available live on Virgin TV. Subscribers can enjoy a variety of channels and features, tailored to their preferences and packages. Here’s what you need to know about the offerings available through Virgin TV.

Channel Packages and Content Availability

Virgin TV provides different packages, each with a unique lineup of channels. Note that channel availability can vary by region and is subject to change at any time.

  • HD Requirement: To access HD channels, viewers need a compatible HD TV, V HD Box, TiVo box, or Virgin TV V6, all connected via HDMI cables.
  • Inclusive HD Channels: The number of included HD channels depends on the chosen package.
  • ITV HD: Availability may depend on regional options—where STV HD or UTV HD are available, ITV HD is not.

Catch Up TV and Premium Channels

Virgin TV offers a Catch Up TV feature that allows viewers to watch content up to seven days or even thirty days after it has originally aired, depending on the specific program.

Premium Channels

Premium channels require a 30-day notice to remove from your subscription. TNT Sports is included in selected Virgin TV bundles, or can be added for an additional monthly fee. Keep in mind that premium upgrades must also be retained for a minimum period of 30 days.

Live Streaming and Device Compatibility

TV Go is a feature that allows content viewing based on your TV package. However, not all channels may be available through this service. For live streaming and on-demand content, broadband or mobile data is required.

  • Device Limitation: Users can connect a maximum of five compatible devices per account, with only two able to stream simultaneously.

Sky Sports Integration

Sky Sports HD channels are available for an additional £7 monthly when subscribed to Sky Sports SD channels. Customers can access these channels through selected iOS and Android apps, with restrictions on device compatibility.

Virgin TV 360 and Stream Box

The Virgin TV 360 Box requires a minimum of M50 Fibre Broadband and is not compatible with full fibre packages. For viewing, an HDMI connection is necessary.

  • Stream Box Requirements: A minimum of 50 Mbps Virgin Media broadband is needed for the Stream box. It also requires an HDMI connection to function correctly.
  • 4K Viewing: A 4K-compatible device is required to watch Ultra HD content.

Cost and Subscription Terms

For the Flex service, which is available to new broadband customers, a £5 monthly charge applies, along with a one-time activation fee of £35. Each Flex entertainment subscription may also come with specific terms, including a possible 30-day notice for cancellation.

Be aware that new customers are generally subject to an 18-month contract with potential setup fees. For the latest details and specific terms, check with Virgin TV.
