To qualify for these honors, each player maintained a minimum GPA of 3.5 and participated in at least 70% of the team’s games during the season. Notably, Okungu and Shamany also earned All-PSAC recognition earlier in the fall semester.
Impact on the 2025 Season
During the 2025 football season, these five players contributed significantly to the team’s success. They collectively participated in 55 games. Under their performance, the Crimson Hawks advanced to the NCAA regional playoffs and hosted a game against Assumption.
IUP finished the season as co-champions of the PSAC West, achieving a commendable 5-1 record in conference play. However, their journey in the PSAC Championship Game ended with a defeat against Kutztown.
