Three Injured in Baton Rouge Shootings Overnight
Three individuals were injured in a series of shootings that took place overnight in Baton Rouge. The incidents, occurring on January 9 and January 10, are currently under investigation by the local police department.
Details of the Shootings
The first shooting occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on North 44th Street near Gus Young Avenue. Police reported that one victim was injured but is expected to survive their wounds.
Shortly after, at 7 p.m., officers responded to a second shooting on 68th Avenue near Pembroke Street. Emergency services transported one person to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
The final incident took place early Saturday morning, January 10, around 2:40 a.m. on North Foster Drive near Prescott Road. Again, one person sustained injuries that were determined not to be life-threatening.
