‘SNL’ Season 51 Schedule: Is There a New Episode Tonight?
“Saturday Night Live” (SNL) has kicked off a fresh year with an exciting lineup for Season 51. However, fans will have to wait for a new episode until Saturday, January 17.
SNL Season 51 Episode Schedule
On January 17, Finn Wolfhard, known for his role in “Stranger Things,” will host for the first time. He will be joined by rapper A$AP Rocky, who will also be making his debut on the show.
Season 51 had been on a midseason break since December 21, when Ariana Grande hosted the Christmas episode featuring Cher. Following Wolfhard’s episode, the schedule continues as follows:
- January 24: Teyana Taylor (host) and Geese (musical guest)
- January 31: Alexander Skarsgård (host) and Cardi B (musical guest)
Teyana Taylor will also be a first-time host. Just recently, she appeared in the film “One Battle After Another” and the series “All’s Fair.” The musical guest, Geese, is fronted by Cameron Winter and will make their SNL debut as well.
On January 31, Alexander Skarsgård, known for performances in series like “True Blood” and “Big Little Lies,” will host. Cardi B, who previously appeared as a musical guest in 2018, will return as the musical guest. Her latest album, “Am I the Drama?,” was released in September 2025.

New episodes of “Saturday Night Live” are broadcast on NBC each Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans can also stream the episodes on Peacock the following day.
