Alabama Strengthens Receiver Position with ACC Transfer Addition

Alabama football has enhanced its receiver corps by acquiring Noah Rogers, a transfer from NC State. This strategic move comes as the Crimson Tide seeks to bolster its offensive lineup.

Noah Rogers: Transfer Highlights

Noah Rogers stands out at 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 205 pounds. He had a productive stint at NC State, recording:

  • 33 receptions for 441 yards
  • 2 touchdowns in the 2025 season
  • A total of 68 catches, 619 yards, and 3 touchdowns over two seasons

Before joining the Wolfpack, Rogers began his career at Ohio State in 2023, where he redshirted after participating in four games.

Recruitment and Background

Rogers was a highly regarded four-star recruit in the 2023 class, rated as the eighth-best receiver and 52nd overall by the 247Sports Composite. His recruitment was led by former Alabama assistants Joe Cox and Holomon Wiggins, who were instrumental in bringing him to Ohio State.

Originally from Rolesville, North Carolina, Rogers adds depth to Alabama’s receiving options. Prior to his addition, the Crimson Tide had only five scholarship receivers:

  • Ryan Williams
  • Lotzeir Brooks
  • Rico Scott
  • Derek Meadows
  • Incoming freshman Cederian Morgan

Recent Changes in Alabama’s Receiver Room

Alabama previously boasted eight scholarship receivers on its 2025 roster. However, changes have occurred recently:

  • Germie Bernard declared for the NFL Draft
  • Isaiah Horton transferred to Texas A&M
  • Reserve players like Cole Adams and Jaylen Mbakwe entered the transfer portal

The transfer portal remains open until January 16, allowing for potential further modifications to the roster.
