Arc Raiders Update 1.11.0 Introduces Abyss Set, Fixes, and Balance Tweaks
Embark Studios has rolled out the latest update for Arc Raiders, version 1.11.0. This update introduces a new cosmetic set and implements significant balancing changes to enhance gameplay.
New Abyss Cosmetic Set
The update features the Abyss cosmetic set, adding freshness and customization options for players to enhance their in-game appearance.
Balance Tweaks in Arc Raiders Update 1.11.0
Key adjustments have been made to the Kettle and Trigger ‘Nade weapons based on player feedback.
Kettle Adjustments
- Fire Rate Reduction: The fire rate of the Kettle has been decreased from 600 to 450.
- This change targets an unfair advantage created by players using macros, promoting a fairer gaming environment.
Trigger ‘Nade Changes
- PvP Balance: The Trigger ‘Nade had gained too much popularity in player versus player encounters.
- The delay before detonation has increased from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds, allowing players more time to react.
- Damage falloff is now concentrated closer to the explosion’s center, with reduced damage at a distance.
- This aims to diversify grenade usage and maintain the Trigger ‘Nade’s role as a sticky bomb.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Additional fixes in this update include the resolution of a key card exploit that allowed players to retain room keys after use. Environmental lighting in certain areas of the Stella Montis Night Raid has also been adjusted, making flashlights and auditory cues more critical for gameplay.
Sales Milestone and Free Gift
Since its launch in late October, Arc Raiders has sold over 12 million copies. To celebrate this achievement, Embark Studios has announced a free gift for all players.
