Philadelphia police have identified a teenager shot and killed inside a Chipotle restaurant near Temple University. The victim, Khyon Smith-Tate, was only 16 years old and lived on the 2500 block of North Hutchinson Street. His tragic death has raised concerns within the community.

The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. on a Monday at the Chipotle located on the 1100 block of Montgomery Avenue. According to police reports, Smith-Tate was found in a bathroom of the restaurant by an employee after suffering a gunshot wound to the chest.
